WORKSHOP 1: Websites on a Shoestring

Creating an effective, manageable, user-friendly website on a budget

This workshop will included information on:

  • Choosing the best website hosting software based on your organizations needs and what resources you have to support your site. 
  • Utilizing existing resources to make a manageable strategic plan for what will be displayed on the website and how the content will be maintained.
  • Tips for creating useful content such as: tailoring the site to the visitor, making sure the design reflects the image of the organization, and making sure the information is up to date.

WORKSHOP 2: Put your website to Work

Using your site as an advanced tool for communications, marketing, education, and development.

This workshop will provide training on how to use a websites for:

  • Fundraising
  • Recruiting volunteers
  • Engaging and educating the community
  • Engaging and educating your constituents

In addition to advanced techniques for:

  • Design
  • HTML (email) letters
  •
