ACE Objectives/Activities

ACE Philadelphia has four core objectives and related services designed to assist target organizations:

     Identify and prioritize technical assistance needs

• Conduct focus groups
• Interview key senior staff from target organizations
• Review existing data regarding HIV/AIDS service issues, problems and gaps to identify infrastructure and programmatic capacity

     Strengthen infrastructure

• Provide individualized technical assistance to address concepts discussed in seminars
• Provide up to $4,000 in computer hardware/software to individual organizations through the technology fund.

     Build and strengthen programmatic capacity

• Conduct seminars on a variety of programmatic capacity issues
• Provide individualized technical assistance to address concepts discussed in seminars

     Foster change through inter-agency exchange of expertise, ideas and resources

• Developed ACE Philadelphia web site that includes project announcements, funding announcements, resource links, job bank, and project listserv
